Burial arrangements for Suzie Makena, a former Miss Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS) are underway.

As we await the clearance of Susan's remains we intend to start meetings where we can arrange her burial.

Well, in her last post, in February this year, the former NIBs student talked about life hardships she wrote,

Life is not that simple at times we cry alone, laugh it all out but your labour In God is never and will never be In vain. Just a prayer ....it works

In another post she wrote,

everything happens with a reason that God knows..

Makena was found dead in the sea on July 31 morning in Dubai, which was her birthday.

In a post on July 31, 2017, Makena thanked her friends for birthday wishes, in a special message which read,

First i bless you lord my king for today, For all who wished me a happy birthday I thank you all, for all who made my day a blessing I do appreciate it a lot, I feel blessed and so loved, I thank you mum n dad, my siblings, and all who did bless me with a nice birthday treat love you all.
