Rogue One, the latest Star Wars film series installment is a spin-off. What that means is that it’s set outside of the usual episode-style narrative that the franchise has upheld since 1977.
The movies has been the talk of the week, with many celebs who watched it at a Los Angeles screening on 11th December beaming with excitement, terming it as a masterpiece.
Actor Rainn Wilson described it as “AMAZING!!! Super fun & exciting” while filmaker Kevin Smith, also a long time Star Wars fan said that the movie was “unbelievably wonderful”.
Moving on fast forward, the movie is about a group of unlikely heroes who band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
