It was pain and agony in Tala, Kangundo, Machakos County as KCB Rugby’s superstar James Kilonzo aka Jay Mulla was laid to rest.
The 23-year-old was shot by unknown gunmen in Santon, Kasarani area on July 24, this year.
Jay Mulla a promising rugby player was awarded the Man of the Tour Award at Western Cape Sports School in Cape Town, South Africa where he participated in a local tournament a few months ago.
The young lad who used to play alongside his brother Peter Kilonzo, was described as a hardworking, passionate about the game and patriotic by many.
Kilonzo’s burial was graced by Rugby players across the country led by KCB coach Curtis Olago.

Police have released a video showing the footage of what happened before and after Jay Mulla was shot and are calling upon the public to help them identify the two armed robbers.
