The Westgate terror attack that happened in 2013 was a horrifying reminder of what hate and perverse ideology can make some do.

In its wake, the attack resulted in 71 total deaths, including 62 civilians, five Kenyan soldiers, and four attackers. Approximately 200 people were wounded in the mass shooting. Many more survived the attack without any physical wounds but with memories.

One of those who survived the Westgate attack was at the Dusit hotel yesterday.

At least, she is now safe.
