In the recently launched Bingwa Music Awards, Mpasho was nominated for the Best Entertainment Site Of The Year and will be up against The Star Newspaper Digital (Word Is), Standard Digital and Mseto East Africa. We'll definitely need you to vote for us, so keep it , and for the voting announcement!

Back to what I was telling you. So event hallmark was when a gospel singer took to stage to perform and totally nailed it! He was backed up by the talented Sarakasi Dancers who as always did not disappoint.

The singer came into the limelight when he, with the help of his sponsor, did a 2.8 million shillings music video that featured a Maserati and Lamborghini. The video was shot in South Africa.

He went on to work with Jimmy Gait on "Makekes" and "Foundation" with Daddy Owen.

The singer introduced his twin brother to the attendees of the event who subsequently went wild over their striking resemblance. At the end I had a brief conversation with him. He said he is currently working on new music. He also lauded the awards, saying that if an artiste is not appreciated at home, it simply makes them feel like they're 'a nobody.' Dennis wishes to work with any talented Nigerian Gospel artiste and Kirk Franklin in the near future.
