Janet Mbugua, one of the most loved and highly respected media personalities is enjoying motherhood.

The former TV girl, who delivered her second child, Mali, on September 17th 2018 had complications during the delivery. Janet had her baby through c-section although she had opted for a normal delivery.

The media personality after delivering had a health scare and was forced to undergo surgery once again.

I UNDERWENT A SURGICAL PROCEDURE NEXT TO MY NEWBORN, AND IT WAS INSANE. I HAD MULTIPLE MELTDOWNS AND I THANK MY FAMILY MEMBERS (BOTH MINE AND MY HUBBY’S) FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE. THEY WERE THERE FOR ME. MOST INCREDIBLE FAMILIES.

Janet also welcomed her firstborn son Huru via C-section and in her past vlogs, she revealed that she was forced to deliver via C-section because her son had a breach.

Well, in her recent vlogs, the mother of two explained that her vaginal opening wasn't dilating and doctors recommended that she undergoes surgery. While narrating the experience through her vlog, she said:

This time round Mali wasn’t breech, in fact he was in a great position. I went into labour I was ready to have that VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), I was so excited to push… and I labored for about 11 hours but I wasn’t dilating. I was like one centimeter and it was not moving, and at the time I was 11 going into 12 hours of labour… I was still at one centimeter dilated. Everybody was just like ‘look let’s not force it, let’s have the C-section’.

Adding;

It wasn’t what I wanted but I just wanted to do what was best for the baby that’s why I didn’t manage to do the VBAC. Again walk with your doctor on this journey, this is mine. If you are able to do a VBAC, man props to you because I think having the baby naturally is the goal. It’s not to say when you do a C-section.

Previously, Mbugua also talked about the removal of her gall bladder and she revealed this was the one point in life she really cried.

DID URINE AND BLOOD TEST. AT 2 AM, MY GYNECOLOGIST TOLD ME ‘YOU NEED TO BE READMITTED BECAUSE WE DON’T REALLY DON’T KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING.’ AFTER RECEIVING THE NEWS, I HAD A MELTDOWN.

The surgery went well and she's now on a recovery journey.

AFTER TWO HOURS OF SURGERY, I WAS JUST THERE PRAYING TELLING GOD TO HELP ME. NEXT TIME I WOKE WAS 3 AM AND WAS BACK IN MY BED. IN THE MORNING, TWO DOCTORS WHO DID THE DIFFERENT PROCEDURES VISITED ME TO TELL ME HOW THEOPERATIONS WENT. ‘THEY WERE ABLE TO DECOMPRESS THE SICK ORGANS.’ THE SECOND DOCTOR TOLD ME WE WERE ABLE TO REMOVE THE GALLBLADDER AND YOU’RE FINE.
