The Kenyan athletes' fraternity has suffered a major blow after Jemima Sumgong was handed a four-year ban for testing positive for a banned substance, erythropoietin (EPO).

The Olympic marathon champion has won the hearts of many thanks to her patriotism and it feels bad that she will not be competing anytime soon.

Well apart from the sad news, photos of Sumgong looking extremely different have surfaced leaving Kenyans talking for days. The photos are showing a visible discrepancy between her hands and her whole body. Many are questioning her ‘new’ fanta-coca cola skin colour claiming that Sumgong has lightened her skin.

Did she go the Vera Sidika way (kutoa tint) or is it climatic changes or is it that life is so green on her side?

A Facebook user by the name Wanyasa asked; "Kwani alijaribu kutoa tint ika backfire?"

Another user, Mueni also questioned Sumsong's 'new' appearance and she wrote; 'Her hand is also faked ama sio yake."
