Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO is at again and this time around he is targeting local musicians who have obscene stage names.

The man who has been nicknamed "Mr Moral Police" said that some artists have been using profane monikers which have hidden graphic meanings.

Mutua gave the artists up to seven days to withdraw those names, failure to which they will face legal action.

He also warned music outlets against selling the music with obscene language saying that they were compromising the morals of the society.

Popular Kamba musician Alex Kasau, alias Katombi, is the first casualty of the crackdown after the board investigated him and found that he was breaking the regulations.

Apart from his vile name, Katombi often features ladies in his music videos who leave very little to the imagination.
