Former beauty queen Cecilia Mwangi has been keeping a low profile socially. The mother of one supposedly parted ways with her estranged 'husband' former Garsen MP Danson Mungatana early last year after a mutual agreement.

"A lot of people have been pestering me, always asking me where my baby-daddy was. It’s now time, to tell the truth. I have never had the perfect answer to that question and I always tell them to go and ask him themselves where he’s been," Cecilia revealed in an interview with Word Is.

In 2015, there were rumours circulating that Mungatana and Cecilia were planning to walk down the aisle but the Anti-Jigger Campaign Ambassador came out to rubbish the claims revealing the main reason why they broke up

"Personally, I felt was at a stage where I needed back some peace of mind. We no longer communicate. No phone calls, no messaging... Nothing at all. We now live our separate lives. We don't even share responsibilities for my daughter. I am a hard-working and responsible lady, capable of taking care of her needs to the fullest," she said.

Adding;

"THERE WERE RUMOURS IN THE MEDIA THAT WE WERE READYING OURSELVES FOR A WEDDING. THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE THAT. THAT WAS JUST A FABRICATION OF THE MEDIA AS THERE WERE NO MARRIAGE PLANS IN THE FIRST PLACE. HOWEVER, I DIDN’T TAKE OFFENCE WHEN THE SAID FALSEHOODS WERE REPORTED BECAUSE I HAVE BIGGER THINGS TO DEAL WITH, AND PURSUE THAN DWELLING ON NON-ISSUES."

Well, this saw Mungatana, his wife TV presenter Mwanaisha Chidzuga and his baby mama Cecilia trend on social media and it's at that point that Chidzuga broke her silence on the issue.

Mungatana, who unsuccessfully vied for the Tana River gubernatorial seat, is living happily with Mwanaisha and their children while Cecilia on the other hand, has been busy working hard to eradicate jiggers and taking care of her all grown up daughter.

The CEO of Ahadi trust has been traveling across the country to create awareness about jigger infestation and during Mother's day back in May, Cecilia Mwangi was honoured with a Mother's Honors Award, under the Mothers in Hygiene and Community Service category for her great input and contribution in the eradication of jiggers and poverty in an event that was held at Light Academy.

Cecilia recently was part of the judges at last week's Miss World Kenya event that saw Miss Elgeyo Marakwet crowned the new Miss World Kenya. The mother of one has maintained her gorgeous looks and she looks absolutely stunning!
