A Boda Boda rider who claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta promised, during the 2002 campaign, to host him at state house once he became president wants the head of state to fulfill his promise.

Donald Omai from Kakapel area, South Teso says that Uhuru made the promise while on a campaign trip to Amagoro.

According to Omai, Uhuru alighted from his chopper during a visit to the area but refused to ride in his car. He instead chose to use a motorcycle. (See picture below)

Omai says he carried Uhuru on his bike from Amagoro Technical College to Deep West Hotel where the latter met with the area councilors then back to his chopper. Uhuru was so impressed by the service offered by Omai and made this promise just before he boarded his chopper to return home. Apparently it was the very first time that Uhuru had used a motorcycle on his campaign.

Uhuru lost that election to Mwai Kibaki but later became president in 2013. Since then, this boda-boda rider has tried in vain to meet the head of state.

"At the beginning of this year, I went to Nairobi but I had to return without meeting with the President. Every person I met told me that it was impossible to get into state house because of strict security."

Is there anyone who can help Mr.Omai?
