He gave you the hit song Hivo Ndio Kunaendaga featuring Kenrazy and Visita. He later gave you the hit song Tukumbukeko and then went silent.

Well, Majirani has broken his silence. Tom Wamitah, real name, says he is still relevant even after too much talk from haters.

He said;

"In the music industry, i have met rappers claiming to be better than me. They talk of my two hit songs saying niliishiwa na mistari wengine ati majirani alichapa...Haha.."

He went on to say that he was better off releasing quality songs than being a noisemaker, something that sounded like he was referring to some local rappers.

He wrote on social media;"Secondly, i don't believe in releasing monthly songs with low budget videos for you to remain relevant . I would rather have one good song in a year.I would rather be called a one hit wonder than a noise maker in the game."

When asked why he decided to pen this down at this time, Majirani exclusively told us that he was shutting down the haters.

He told Mpasho;

"Too much pressure from fans and haters on how am no longer relevant...Sijui am being forgotten...Bottom line is i believe am heading in the right direction...So haters should shut up am still on course."

He continued;

"Am happy to report the increased number of friends and fans using the name majirani on Facebook."
