Gospel deejay, DJ Mo is one of the most celebrated and top deejays in the country, and there is no doubt that he has gained a lot of respect from his followers and fellow deejays.

DJ Mo did not get his success on a silver spoon and had to struggle to get to where he is today, having gone through a lot of hardships and struggles before his talent was recognized.

He has severally confessed that there was a time he used to do shows for free while he was an up and coming deejay and was earning so little that it could not even sustain his daily needs. He also used to turn down shows to play secular songs when he got saved.

Before realizing his calling in music and deejaying, DJ Mo got involved in heavy drinking and women for the first year that he stayed at home after clearing high school.

But that is now in the past and DJ Mo, real name Sammy Muraya, is gospels top deejay and he has proven this by winning several Groove and Talanta awards.

DJ Mo is married to secular turned gospel singer Size 8, who were recently blessed with a bundle of joy, a daughter by the name, Ladasha Belle.

However,  before all that fame, DJ Mo was not as chubby as he is now, and no one knows that better than he does and how about some photo evidence?

He decided to crack our ribs with a few photos of him back then, looking skinny and it's clear that money had not come in plenty yet. This was back in 2010 when his deejaying career was picking up.

He even warned his fans not to laugh at the old photos;
