Churchill Show's comedian Jasper Murume is one man that has won the hearts of many Kenyans.

Murume says getting into Churchill Show was a struggle and took him many rounds of auditions.

He says he first stepped into the city back in 2010 when he came to look for a job. He later joined JKUAT where he studied Mass Communication after tarmacking for a year.

Jasper told Chipukeezy on the Trend on what it takes to be in the comedy show

"Kuingia churchill show si mchezo, lazima uende pale uwa-convince not only that you are funny, but also consistent and disciplined," said Japer Murume

Before that, Murume has been working with Crazy Comedy. He is a proud father of one Tupac Kirimi.

He was recently performing in Dubai and you might wonder whether he uses his Meru approach to entertain people abroad.

"Thats my character...And thats me. Hata tuseme nipate show ya majuu ya kuongea na English na nitawachekesha but hio English itakua na kimeru and thats why watacheka. I take comedy as my profession. Its my passion and work."

Jasper says he will eventually get out of Churchill show to start his own production.
