'About 20 years ago, I was working in my grandfather's poshomill but I used to compose songs there.

I took the songs to Kamaru in Nairobi and he came for me at the Poshomill. That is how I left Ushago. I have never gone back there. I recently celebrated 20 years in music.

My first popular song that opened a way for me was 'Mlianza na Roho'. The song made me so famous but nowadays watu wananichapa nayo.

Next there was another song, 'Onageria niekuremuo' which now was translated to be political. I was only singing to say that even if the devel tries, he will be defeated But since I released the song in 2007, people though I was singing for Raila who was competing with former president Kibaki.

Githae and Gatundu MP Moses Kuria were in the same school.
