About a fortnight ago, KTN Presenter Jamal Gaddafi announced that he and his wife had welcomed a bouncing baby boy but we never got to see the newborn’s face.
Jamal – who was out of the country when his wife put to bed – could not hide hide his joy when he took to social media to break the good news.
”Nipo Nje Ya Mji Kikazi Lakini Taarifa Ninazo Nashukuru Mungu Kwani Mke Wangu Ameweza Kujifungua Bila Matatizo. Tunamshukuru Mungu Kwa Kutujalia Zawadi Nzuri Ya Mtoto Wa Kiume!!! Hongera Sana Mke Wangu Mungu Akujalie Maisha Marefu Tuweze Kumlea Kijana Wetu Kwa Maadili Mazuri.”he posted.
He also announced that the baby was welcomed at First Avenue Hospital at exactly 3:29 p.m and that was all. No photos, no nothing!
Well, a few hours ago, Jamal showed us his son’s face for the very first time after sharing some photos from his aqiqa held this past weekend.
Aqiqa is an Islamic rite which entails the sacrifice of an animal to celebrate the birth of a child.
The ceremony saw the attendance of Governor Hassan Joho, Suna East MP Junnet Mohammed, former deputy speaker Farah Maalim and Steve Mbogo.
Check out the photos below.
Jamal rose to prominence after winning KTN’s reality show ‘The Presenter’ and now hosts a music show dubbed Mzuqa that airs on the same station.
