KOT react to President Uhuru Kenyatta deactivating his Twitter account

Kenya's President, Uhuru Kenyatta's social media accounts have been deactivated, the only available pages are his fan page.

Today morning, the people managing President Uhuru’s social media accounts have made major changes.

They have deleted all his tweets and later deactivated the account. Below is the last tweet the resident posted.

The same was done on Facebook. The only available pages are fan pages that follow the president’s life.

Nzioka Waita who is the Chief Of Staff in the Office of The President revealed:

On account of unauthorized access to the official social media handles of H.E the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta.

She added:

all official social media handles for the President have been temporarily suspended to allow for the necessary remedial measures to be undertaken

Adding in another tweet, “It seems the President’s stand on corruption has generated all manner of reactions.
