He released a statement in form of a video to is fans pouring out his love for them and asking his Kakamega fans to be in attendance.

The uproar started once again as people could not believe he is back. Now to make matters worse, it has been rumored that Koffi will be paid a whopping 23 million for his performance. This is money from the devolution budget that is supposed to help grow the county of Kakamega but it is being used for entertainment purposes. A fact which does not make some Kakamega residents happy.

Bien Amie of Sauti Sol on the contrary, thinks Olomide deserves that amount of money he is rumored to be paid. He said that in Koffi’s defense, he has worked hard to earned that respect saying he has been able to entertain 3 straight generations. Bien said:

Good for Koffi this man has 20 albums. Koffi has done everything we have never done including entertaining three generations. Koffi deserves that kind of money

I don’t know about you but in my opinion, I think where we are as a country now we really need to understand the importance of prioritizing things especially when it involves money for a whole county.
