Drama as Kisii man chops off ex-wife's limbs for leaving him for another man

Friday evening was filled with drama as a jilted husband cut off all the limbs of his ex-wife and the villagers descended on him and cut of some of his limbs too.

According to an attempted murder incident report at Nyamaiya police station on January 8, 2020 under OB 11of 8/8/1/2021 at 1630hrs,

"It was reported through the mobile by the area assistant chief Mr.Robert Juma that some two people have been serious cut by panga at Bomware village, Monianku Sublocations, within South Mugirango Borabu Location."

Police officers rushed to the scene and it was established that one Naomi Bosibori, a Kisii female adult aged 22yrs left her husband at Tabaka for the last three weeks to Bomware village to visit her aunt.

She stayed with her aunt for one week and left, to the neighborhood where she got married to one Francis Kengu.

The message was sent to her husband James Oroko Obara at Tabaka who came on Friday at around 4pm, while armed with a panga and a slasher.

The report reads,

"He stormed the homestead and caught his wife, where he slashed off both her legs, he also deeply cut her on both hands at the palm and fore fingers."

Adding,

"The villagers turned against him and cut his left hand, where he sustained a deep cut, beating him with stones before area chief rescued him. Both have been rushed to Tabaka Mission Hospital as the lady is in serious condition while the man is in stable condition."

The weapons recovered at the scene will be ised as exhibit as the police photographed the scene of the crime.
