Kenyan rapper King Kaka is in mourning following the death of a lady whom he describes as 'a very good friend'.

Caroline Mumbua gave up the ghost on Tuesday, December 10 at an Indian hospital where she was being detained over a Sh3.7 million bill.

The 24-year-old had flown to the foreign country to seek treatment after she was diagnosed with Lupus - an autoimmune disease that causes swelling (inflammation) of the skin.

Luckily, Carol triumphed over the chronic disease and she was seeking help from her fellow Kenyans in clearing the hospital bill so that she can finally come back home.

However, this was not to be as she suffered a relapse and was pronounced dead before she returned to Kenya.

Netizens came together the tags #RipCarol and #BringCarolHome to send their condolence messages to Carol's family and pledge support in ensuring that her body is brought back.

Here are her photos:

Rapper Kevin Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka, took to Instagram in November last year asking Kenyans to send whatever they had so that his close friend can return home.
