Fake gold dealer Chris Obure who has been admitted to hospital after he complained he was unwell will spend seven more days before a court rules if he will be released on bail.

This was announced by Justice Jessie Lessit who heard his bail application in a murder charge he is facing.

The judge said she will rule on whether to release him on bail on Monday even as the prosecution said his release will jeopardize investigations and witnesses.

Obure is alongside his bodyguard Robert Bodo facing murder charges of Kelvin Omwenga.

They were also on Thursday charged with counts of mishandling the gun that was used in the murder.
