According to the police, there is a man hunt on for the housegirl who escaped with her employer’s gun from their Lavington home last evening.

The housegirl is said to have been picked up by a salon car. She also picked unknown amount of money from the house before escaping. The weapon with nine bullets belongs to a city businessman who is a licensed gun holder.

A hunt for the woman identified as Florence Nabwire is ongoing.

And it seems robberies are becoming a rampant trend. Police are also looking for a gang that raided a residential house in Karen area and robbed the occupants of Sh600,000 and other electronic goods.

Police say they suspect the attackers had prior information on the cash before they raided. None was injured in the incident that  targeted Chinese nationals who stay there.

Meanwhile, a reveler died after he was hit by another one in a fight outside a bar in Fig Tree, Ngara Nairobi. Police say the deceased fell on the concrete floor dying instantly as his attacker escaped on foot. The two had disagreed in a bar before they started to fight outside that led to the fatal incident. A probe has been opened with an aim of arresting the assailant. The body was moved to the mortuary, Central OCPD Harisson Thuku says.
