A Nakuru family has been left in a lot of agony following the untimely death of a woman as she was organizing her husband's funeral.

Aseka Shijeti, a daughter to the deceased couple, told journalists that her dad who goes by the name Erastus Shijeti passed away on February, 28 while receiving treatment at Tenwek Hospital.

The family had earlier planned to lay him to rest on March 8, but unfortunately, his wife fell sick a day to his burial and died at 11pm on the same day.

As such, the family was forced to reorganize their plans so that Mr Shijeti and his wife can be buried on the same day. They were given a decent send off on Friday, March 10.
