Nothing else hurts and devastates souls like death. It's the most hurting thing to ever happen to mankind. It doesn't ask for permission. It just invites itself in and steals the best; the loved ones amongst us.

The Kenyan entertainment industry is in grief following the death of popular local actress Maende Shikuku.

The actresses demise comes just a few days after popular radio presenter Grace Makosewe was found dead at her apartment in Nairobi.

Makosewe's death also came a few days after the entertainment industry was thrown into mourning following the passing on celebrated music artiste Achieng Abura. All these happenings have occurred in a span of three weeks. It's so sad.

Maende Shikuku, popular for her starring role as Petronila in the popular NTV series "Pray and Prey", is said to have fallen ill on set and was rushed to hospital where she died on Friday, November 4th.
