The family of Mathare United footballer Ismael Dunga is mourning the demise of their mother. Sadly, the late succumbed to liver disease while undergoing treatment at Mewa Hospital in Mombasa County on Friday 20th May, 2016.

"INNA LILLAHI WI INA ILLAHI RAJIUN..Pumzika pema My mother,"

The former Tusker FC and Sony Sugar footballer took to social media to share the sad news with his fans that was followed by condolence messages.

She was buried on Saturday at the Kikoani Cemetry according to the Islamic law. She was also the mother of one of the uprising stars, Keagan Munian, who plays for one of the top football academies in the city.
