Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has revealed what he really thinks about the controversial ‘gospel’ song dubbed Mungu Nipe Nyonyo.
In the song, SBJ is heard singing “Eeh Baba nipe nyonyo oh Yesu niko tayari eeh….nijue jinsi ya kamua, nielewe mi kunyonya.”
It has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans, quite a number have faulted the musician for joking with God.
Ezekiel Mutua who is also known as Mr. Moral Policeman has added his voice to the growing debate.
During an interview with Daily Nation, Mutua said the song lacked creativity while adding that its blasphemous.

He also said that artists should not release songs just for the sake of it the and that those who are releasing controversial songs are just doing that to get traction.
“Kuna ujinga imetokea naona ina circulate kwa video inasema Yesu nipe nyonyo and I have no idea why anyone would think that is creativity. Some of the things that are happening is because people have realized that their content will not be aired anywhere unless they are controversial or saying obscene things,” Mutua stated.
