Supermarket shelves are being left empty as Kenyans rush to shop after the first coronavirus case was confirmed in Kenya by the government.

Among the things going out of stock are sanitizers, Dettol, spirit, and foodstuffs such as flour rice among other things.

Some people on the streets have also taken advantage of the situation and are selling one non-reusable blue face mask for between Sh400 to Sh420.

While, a packet goes for Sh23,000 at Chemists around CBD.

Some chemists have run out of stock already due to demand.
