It is 14 years now since Kenyan Hip Hop artiste  Issah Mmari popularly known as E-Sir left us. The Moss Moss hit singer lost his life in a tragic road accident on March 16, 2003 while on his way back to Nairobi from a concert in Nakuru.

Nameless, one of Kenya's legends in the music industry survived the tragic accident and is among the celebrities who have posted photos of this fallen hero. One of E-sir's best friends, Big Pin has penned down a heartfelt message remembering the chats he and E Sir had the night before the loss.

"15.03.2003,went for a sleep over at E-SIR's place ..Interesting thing was that we had a very weird conversation, just not any type of convo we would have on a normal day. Religion being a very sensitive one,he brought it up and was advising that we should always go to church or The mosque and be prayerful regardless of whether you are Muslim or Christian. Being some of the last hours, that was just too deep of him.

Talked to him after the show at Dimples and he was happy he killed the show and was to come and tell me the next day but it never came to pass.

14years on,MISS YOU BRO.'

Talia Oyando, a tv host and show personality has also gone ahead to remember the efforts by the legend himself, E-sir. He will be remembered for hit songs like Moss Moss, Saree, Kamata, Leo Ni Leo, Maisha and the electric Bomba Train.

RIP E-Sir, You will forever remain in our hearts.
