Earlier today, the internet was abuzz with word that Leonard Mambo Mbotela, the veteran journalist was dead.

And as often happens, word of the death rend the air after Kenyans on Twitter erroneously assumed him dead and Cyprian Nyakundi ran with the news.

Everyone has since been corrected as the man was actually on air as word of his demise was circulating.
