Sportpesa is Kenya's top betting company and now with their new and exciting partnership with Arsenal Football Club, this stands to be one of the country's most influential and monumental developments in the Kenyan sports scene.

Through this joint venture, Sportpesa and Arsenal are currently hosting a football training camp at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies here in Nairobi from which started on May 23rd and runs through May 28th. This is especially fascinating because it is a chance for Kenyan footballers to gain access to world class training at the Arsenal Football Training Camp.

The training targets 60 certified coaches from all over the country drawn from 16 Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) under 19 championship while the rest of the 44 will be from the grassroots football clubs across Nairobi, Coast, Nyanza, Western, Eastern, Rift Valley, Central and North Eastern provinces

A team of three Arsenal coaches namely; Paul Drew Tyler, Mohammed Moaz Awadelkarim and Rupen Shah together with the well renowned legend Sol Campbell will be conducting the course.

For the first day, there was a 2-phase coaching; theory in the morning and practicals in the evening. Among the topics taught included profile of a good footballer, player centered coaching, how to identify a good player and ways to assess a good player.
