Two Kenyans were arrested in the US state of Oregon after an armed robbery.  The suspects allegedly attempted to do something Kenyans are re-known for; running but failed to get away from the police who were in hot pursuit.

Nash Muraya, 21, and Alex Ngatia, 20, are both charged in connection with an incident in Southeast Portland on Sunday night. What happened you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked.

The victim told police he was robbed at gunpoint by a man who fled the scene in a car with two other people inside.

Police officers traced the vehicle and tried to stop it but the driver took off and a high-speed chase ensued.

The car was found abandoned in the area after officers deployed a spike strip on the vehicle’s tyres.

They combed the area where they found the three suspects. A woman was later released without charges.

The gun used in the robbery was recovered on the ground near the scene.
