Two rugby players Frank Wanyama and Alex Mahaga who had been charged with gang rape on April 2018 have been found guilty.

The judgement  was done in camera and not in public as many had anticipated.

The two had been accused of raping Kenyan singer Wendy Kemunto repeatedly on her birthday on February 10th.

Kemunto took many by surprise in  2018  after shockingly revealing the harrowing ordeal.

The two rugby players went to Kilimani Police Station to record a statement saying any sexual contact was consensual, accusing Kemunto of blackmailing them.

Just after recording the statement, Frank and Alex headed to the hospital where their DNA samples were extracted for further investigation regarding the case.

The two players will be sentenced today.
