Losing a loved one is very painful. They always leave a gap no one else can fill. A Kenyan man by the name Dan Sonko, who recently lost his wife during child birth, is yet to come to terms with the death of his wife, Driscillah Sonko.

His wife passed away hours after giving birth to their second-born child and all has not been well without her. Sonko is missing his wife dearly and every day, he pens down an emotional message to her hoping that one day they will be re-united.

Dan Sonko's youngest son just turned two-months-old and he is thanking God for this far he has brought him.

"We are 2months and 1 day today.

This far, its God!

Forever indebted to my Mom as well as my Mother-In-Law, my Sisters-In-Law, the Wise Moms and Pillars Teams and those who have purposely and directly walked and continue to walk with us in this journey.

The Prayers and Encouragement from both known and unknown people cannot be left unmentioned.

Even in the darkness, D1 and D2 provide a bright ray of sunshine. Their warmth has played a big part in replacing the coldness occasioned by your absence.

#Darrell_Sonko continues to grow strong and healthy. I look in his eyes and I see you my love. I feel you.

We won a car babes, a car for D1 and D2!

Who would have thought!

I sing the Lord's praises for having blessed me with an Angel on earth and who has proceeded on to Heaven. I thank Him for you everyday. As painful as it is, I thank Him.

I know we shall be together again.....for now, I will carry on with the work here.

I Love You babes.....I do and always will!" he posted on social media.
