Esther took to her blog to share her experience so far in Ireland. She has shared nice photos of the plush offices, the new friends she has made as well as a few shots of her amazing house. Here's what she had to say;

Day 1 at Google is indescribable. You really can not express everything you experience. And this is coming from someone who has been a Google intern in the Kenyan office for 1 year, I can only imagine how the REAL Nooglers feel. They must feel 10,000 times what I am feeling. I can only hope that my children get to experience what I did when their time comes to be full-time employees.

Lesson 1: The key to a successful company is HAPPY people. PERIOD. My advise to the Kenyan youth, be the source of happiness in the office and of course, BE the over achiever! My advise to the African entrepreneurs would be to design a great company culture that will inspire happiness amongst your employees. Happy People = Happy Company

Lesson 2: Smart people are the funnest people. What is this thing about nerds being boring? – BIG NO! Simply put, Googlers are the most fun people I have interacted with.

Lesson 3: Constantly be yourself, you will find your people. We live in a world that constantly forces us to conform. BE YOU, LOVE YOU, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF: you will eventually find your people.

Lesson 4: Opening up to people gives you an opportunity to relearn things: Sometimes we choose to learn the wrong things, opening up yourself to people enables you relearn what you needed to learn in the first place.

Lesson 5: We live in a beautiful world! See the beauty, focus on the beauty, feel the beauty, experience the beauty and most importantly BE THE BEAUTY.
