Eunice Onyango, the reigning Miss Kenya International has excelled at the pageant's international finals which took place in Japan. The Kenyan beauty's mission is to create awareness about the existence of the victims of terror in Kenya.

She became First Runner Up in the competition, making her the first African to be to make it among the top three in pageant's 55-year-history. She is also the first Miss International Africa.

The 55th Miss International Pageant went down in Tokyo at the Prince Hotel. The pageant had representatives from 70 countries and regions from all over the world.

She took to her social media to thank her mentor and director Tony Chirah for helping her clinch the title. She also gave her family a shout out and the entire Miss International fraternity in this passionate post:
