Betty Kyallo's parents were part of the guests who graced the launch of her new business on Wednesday in Upperhill.

The mother of one opened a new barbershop which is part of the many businesses she's planning to before the year ends.

Speaking at the event Betty's father Wilfred Kyallo a retired major, praised his daughters for being business-minded, advising the youngest Gloria to follow suit.

'Betty is my second born child and I'm very thankful to the Lord for the kind of family he has given me, particularly the girls. I love them for not only doing business but for also supporting Kenyans I know that through them a lot of families are feeding and getting educated. I'm thankful to my girls and even to my boys, they're equally good. Keep making Nairobi women beautiful and men handsome and neat Betty,' he said.

The media personality's mother, on the other hand, showered her and her sister Mercy with praises, for helping the needy and setting the bar too high for three youngest sister, Gloria.

'We are retired and so this is their time to work. I'm happy because whatever they're doing they are helping a lot of families. It is not easy. I'm grateful because many are feeding and educating their children through Mercy and Betty's efforts. I love you [my children] and continue supporting Betty,' Mercy's mother Julia said.
