Relationships are different and there is no manual or leakage on how to make it work. Some of the celebrities have served goals but some it has ended in premium tears.

For Kiss FM presenter Kamene Goro, things did not turn out as expected. With marriage comes the anticipation for a happy ever after but for the beauty she revealed that her marriage was beautiful for the first year but became toxic after busting her ex-husband cheating on several occasions.

Kamene said the worst thing was friends encouraged her to stay put and hold on to the relationship since it is men’s nature to be polygamous.

Narrating to listeners on their show with her co-host comedian Jalang’o, Kamene explained why she found it hard to let go in spite of the toxic nature of the relationship.

Things seem to be running smoothly as she got engaged to the man she was head over heels in love with only for her to again find him guilty of wanting more from other women outside their love triangle for about four to five times.

The presenter explains that his former lover’s cheating became consistent and she had learnt to live with his actions.

Walking away is never easy and for Kamene, what made her hold on and tolerate infidelity was thanks to the friends she confided in who would soothe her by telling her it is a man’s nature to cheat and she was in a better position since she is the main chic in the relationship.

Her co-host Jalang’o - who is a married man - advised the listeners who are facing a similar problem not to tolerate some of these toxic behaviours and call it quits.

If the relationship involves violence, somebody who talks down on the other partner and events of infidelity, quit it.

“They are things you should not tolerate as a woman. Violence, somebody who talks down on you and cheating.” He advised.

He further urged his listeners to know what they want out of a relationship and not comprise for the other partner’s sake.
