Kaki Mwaihaki formerly of Adwanage band is making big strides after she decided to go solo after being in the industry for 10 years.

Kaki who is the founder of the band, is a celebrated and award winning songwriter and singer.

Her solo career seems to have started out on a good note after she signed a recording deal with U.S based Magichands Music in January 2020.

According to Kaki

'This is my most successful solo so far.'

What many do not know is that Kaki is the writer behind the uplifting songs  "Uwezo," "Naomba," "I live for you," and many more in Adawnage.

Adwanage consisted of 13 members before three dropped out along the way.

They remained 10 namely

Roselyn Mwihaki, Lorna Olwanda, Wanjiku Mirithu, Frank Muriuki, Robert Njuguna, Anthony Iganza, Julius Nyawara, David Ogara, Dominic Khaemba and Noah Ochieng.

Truth be told their music is very uplifting and very good for the soul.
