Last year in February, Uganda's promising star Mowzey Radio - real name Moses Sekibooga - passed on.

10 days before his death, Mowzey was attacked by a bouncer at a night club known as De Bar that led to him being in a coma till his death.

His management released a statement detailing how he died.

I read, "Between 9pm and 9:30pm on Monday night (January 22, 2018), Moses was subjected to a very serious and unprovoked assault by an employee or associate of Egesa George. There had been an exchange of words, and as

MOSES WAS EXITING THE BAR TO RETURN TO KAMPALA WHEN THE AS-YET-UNIDENTIFIED ASSAILANT VICIOUSLY ATTACKED HIM. THIS RESULTED IN A SEVERE BRAIN INJURY THAT REQUIRED URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION.

Now, the High court in Entebbe found Godfrey Wamala Troy guilty of manslaughter and acquitted him on the murder of Mowzey Radio.

Troy is accused of assaulting Mowzey Radio that led to his death.

The prosecution produced evidence of nine witnesses who included the late's mother Jane Kasuubo, music producer Washington who testified that he was with Mowzey that fateful night and he saw him pouring wine on people which annoyed Troy and hit him.

The person who was last seen with Mowzey during his last moments at the bar spoke about how he met his death.

Pamela adds that Egesa ordered a waitress to bring Radio a bottle of Black label but radio poured it. This annoyed Egesa prompting him to push the table with drinks aside.

“When George stood up, producer Washington grabbed him thinking they were going to fight, and I grabbed Radio to lead him out of the bar since both of them had turned rowdy. As we were going out, some other guy came out of nowhere, lifted Radio up and threw him to the ground and he lost consciousness,” she narrated.
