Anne Kiguta has urged Kenyans to keep in mind that it takes just one mistake to go down the road that former news anchor Esther Arunga went.

Speaking on Arunga’s drama in a segment run by K24 Anne said,

I am not perfect than all those other women.

These are things that happen to anyone. It takes one mistake and you go down that road,

Everyone likes power, but no one likes the responsibility that comes with it.

Anne Kiguta who has been on TV for years went on to caution that no matter who you are nothing really prepares you for the exposure that comes with being a media personality.

I always urge caution when young people are entering the space.

Nothing quite prepares you for this level of public exposure.

Asked how she manages to keep her life private and still remain relevant in the media industry Kiguta confessed that prioritizing God has been the key factor.

I have been blessed in my career to have people who have walked with me. I have also taught other people. That is critical for me.

God has been my first priority.

About me not going down that road, I am a person of faith and my faith has grounded me.


She added,

Without the Grace of God, Yahweh protecting me from lots of issues, then I would not be anywhere.
