I don't think this switch from gospel to secular music that Willy Paul has made has caught anyone by shock. Not even casual observers are shocked.

Personally, I cannot blame him because I have seen how he has been marginalized and bullied by Kenya's gospel gatekeepers so it was just a matter of time. And it would seem the OGs of Kenya's entertainment industry are also taking note of the switch Willy Paul has made.

Juacali has spoken out to welcome Willy Paul to the secular music fray and I for one am happy. Finally, Kenya will have an answer to all the Tanzanians invading our airplay with their decidedly superior sound.
