In an Instagram post she shared recently, the former Taita Taveta woman representative expressed her gratitude to God for restoring her marriage and wiping away her tears and shame.
Be encouraged. God shall restore all the years that were destroyed by the enemy. He is a faithful God!
She went on to say how much she loved her husband and that it felt like they had never left each other.
We are happy! It’s like we never left! This is to.. till death do us part!
She accompanied the post with many lovey dovey hashtags, including true love exists, restoration, recover all, be still and Jesus is Lord.

Joyce has gone through a couple of tough times, including losing her woman rep seat in the 2017 election to having to adopt her own child because Kenya still does not recognise IVF, which she and her husband Bill used to get their child.
In 2016, Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo and Joyce teamed up to sponsor an IVF bill after facing their own stuggles getting children. Joyce opened up about facing discrimination during campaigns with some people asking why they should vote for a woman “who cannot give birth”.
Joyce’s husband Bill has worked in the corporate scene for years. He is the chairman of East African Portland Cement Company and has previously worked as the CEO of General Motors.
Joyce has done a lot of work in the IVF field to raise awareness and reduce discrimination. Late last year, her name came up in the news after it emerged Jacque Maribe’s fiance Jowie used to be her bodyguard.
Jowie has been linked to the murder of city businesswoman Monica Kimani.
