Former Milele FM radio presenter Joyce Gituro has joined Kenyans in mourning the death of Radio Citizen Managing Editor Robin Njogu.

Heartbreaking as it may be Joyce says she has accepted God's will. Taking to her social media she penned

God I'll not ask you why you took Robin Njogu.

, I'll not ask why you took his mother as well, I'll not ask you how Carol will move on with the kids.

I'll not ask you how Mzee Njogu will handle the death of his wife and son, I'll not ask you God whether this family will manage.

I'll not ask you why you have done it! No God, I'll glorify you because you are God of good and bad times.

You are still seated on your throne, you are God who never fails! You alone, will take care of everyone.

My heart is heavy but in you there's peace that surpasses human understanding. Go well my people, shine on your way.

Other people who have joined Kenyans include Deputy President William Ruto, Aden Duale among others.

Taking to his social media Ruto penned

'As the media fraternity can attest, Robin Njogu was friendly, humble and a good man. He was a skilled, dedicated and professional radio journalist who edited and reported on issues openly, independently and honestly.

Gentle, kind-hearted and steadfast, Njogu believed in the true values of journalism, and contributed immensely to the strengthening of quality reporting.

His death is extremely devastating as it comes just days after he lost his dear mother.'

Our love and prayers to the family, their loved ones, the Royal Media Services, the Kenya Editors’ Guild and the entire media fraternity. Rest In Peace.'

Duale also penned

The media fraternity has lost a professional journalist who set trends as a news editor. Robin Njogu was an independent minded journalist who always stood for truth and facts in his journalism.

Humble but firm. Disciplinarian who did not condone mediocrity.

“Every soul shall taste death, and only on the Day of Judgment will you be paid your full recompense.”
