Eleanor Musangi, the ex-lover of Joseph Irungu alias Jowie raised a lot of eyebrows end of last year when she revealed that she lied to court officials so that Jowie can be granted bail.

Jowie is the prime suspect in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. Her lifeless body was found dumped in the bathtub, hands and legs bound and her neck was slit from ear to ear. The trial resumes this month.

Eleanor revealed through Edgar Obare’s Insta stories, that her relationship with Jowie is over adding that they made up the stories of them meeting through "divine intervention" and their marriage was all a lie.

In the long pot shared on Edgar Obare's platform. Eleanor narrated,

“I mentioned I met Jowie through divine intervention, which is true, but the fact I said we were married was a lie. I lied about being married to protect Jowie for legal reasons because as of his court release.”

Adding,

“So when I took him to my home for legal reasons I stated that, so he could be allowed to live in Nairobi as the police on his case had to be aware of where or who he’s with. I don’t honestly regret helping Jowie in the vulnerable state I met him, but I don’t want my compassion to be used against me in other areas of life."

Ella also said she wants to pursue her modelling dream and having a controversial experience would cost her a lot.

Since December to date, the former lovers have unfollowed each other on social media and deleted each other’s photos from their Instagram accounts.

However, this month the murder trial resumes and people close to Eleanor are asking her what the implications of her revelations are considering that she lied to the court.

Recently, she posted a cryptic message on her social media targeting disloyal friends.

"Snakes, don't hiss anymore.. they call you love, babe, sis bro."

In another post, she explained further,

"These so-called "friends " in my life all you know to do is ask for my financial support or if I have any employment opportunities or update me on whatever gossip that goes around about me or once I become national headlines your quick to ask me stupid questions, I have marked you and your days are numbered I will embarrass you to my face and the world..come to me again like that. Ella you are this...Ella you are that. Come ...I am waiting."
