Monica Kimani’s father cleric Paul Ngarama and his family are going through a difficult time.
The man of God has asked his followers to pray for him after the case of his daughter, who was butchered young resumed early this week.
Joseph Irungu alias Jowie, the main suspect in the murder of Monica was remanded at the Kamiti Maximum Prison since last year. Jowie has been attending the ongoing court sessions and according to two witnesses, Jowie was the last person to be seen with Monica.
Lee Omondi, a friend of Monica told Justice James Wakiaga that he went to her house on September 19, 2018, to collect documents from her and met Jowie, who was introduced to him as Joe, and a neighbour by the name Walid.
I stayed for a bit after Walid left. I excused myself to leave and Monica noted that ‘even Joe is following you now,’ Omondi said.
Well, Monica Kimani’s father shared a post on his Facebook account, which read,
I need your prayers friends, the case of my daughter Monica kimani, started this week, some trust on horses and big armies but I trust upon the Lord Jehovah God, speak a prayer.
Monica’s body was discovered dumped in her bathtub at her apartment in Kilimani. The 28-year-old businesswoman’s throat had been slit, hands bound, mouth taped shut and part of her clothes torn.
‘F**k friendship ! Jowie was our friend but he is a liar.. He was the last to see my sister alive!’ Monica Kimani’s brother spills the beans
