Singer Jose Chameleone real name Joseph Mayanja has lost to his counterpart Erias Lukwago as Lord Mayor for Kampala.

The singer cum politician who came fourth place in the voting that took place on Wednesday was running as an independent candidate.

He was running against  five others Erias Lukwago, Daniel Kazibwe, Charles Ssenkubuge , Nabilah Naggayi Sempala and Innocent Kawooya.

Chameleone, just like any other candidate was confident that he was going to win

"Great Leadership coming in for the Physical and Social development of a Great Kampala city" he wrote before the election

This comes just days after the presidential elections that saw another singer cum politician Bobi wine lose to Yoweri Museveni who now extends his 35-year rule.
