Not everyone takes jokes lightly, some people can even punch you in the face if you make fun of them. After the Bungoma Wheelbarrows saga, a first-time member of parliament was overheard asking a governor whether he had obtained some wheelbarrows for his county and at what cost. 

Unfortunately, the governor did not take the joke lightly and boldly told the MP to go ask his mother. The MP who thought he was entertaining the governor got offended and hit him in the crotch.

Things apparently got serious and the two politicians had to be separated.
