Jokate Mwegelo has abandoned over three million followers on social media. The former girlfriend to bongo singer Ali Kiba did this days after she landed a job with the Tanzanian government.

Jokate has deleted all her social media posts, probably to concentrated on her new job as the District Commissioner for Kisarawe District, Tanzania. Let's just say she is trying to let the World differentiate between slay queens and a Mheshimiwa.

Ali Kiba, who just got married four months ago, wished the ex well as she steps into a new chapter.

Jokate’s romance with the Seduce Me singer was greatly publicized and covered by many a tabloid. However, they soon split citing irreconcilable differences.

Jokate is an entrepreneur and former Miss Tanzania 2nd runner up, a position that was taken by socialite Wema Sepetu. Kate was also named among Forbes’ 30 under 30 entrepreneurs. She was used as a video vixen by Bahati in his song Maria.
