John Macharia the son of SK Macharia died early today morning in an accident along the Southern Bypass. A new extended video reveals that he may have survived the initial crash.
This is according to one of the breakdown operators at the scene who went to get the vehicle. The unseen operator says:
“Engine yake iko nyuma, ndiyo maana wamesurvive.”
He goes on to say:
“Hii gari engine iko nyuma, haiko mbele. Ndiyo kwa maana wako hai, juu gari ya kawaida engine iko mbele.”

Unconfirmed reports indicate that John Macharia was with his girlfriend in the car. But the passenger survived unscathed. There are also reports that he had not put his seatbelt on.
Karen police boss Cunningham Suiyanka confirmed that there was a crash on the Southern Bypass.
The speedometer on the car is also stuck at the 200 Km per hour. A speed that most cars on this Kenyan roads struggle with.
The crash happened at 10 pm when John, who is said to have been speeding lost control of his Porsche Cayenne 911. The 2017 Porsche 911 costs between Sh8.5 million ($85,350) and Sh13.3 million ($133,850). Photos and videos of his wrecked car are below:
