A radio presenter has come out to defend gospel singer Bahati's baby mama after she was cyber-bullied.

This was as a result of the singer posting photos of his two-year-old daughter, whom he had denied.

Alex Mathenge spoke exclusively to The Star's Word Is, saying:

"The moment you deny that the child is not yours and you go for a DNA test, there you have already injured the emotional feelings of the mother of that child. Then you go and post photos of the child online. It hurts her a lot to see photos of her child on the other woman's timeline. It looks like she has given away her child."

Alex says Kisha Yvette Obura has shied away from speaking about the matter in public because she wants to keep her life private and protect her child from the brutal limelight.

"I advised her to get legal advice on how her child will be helped. They did a DNA test and it came out as 99.99 per cent. He cannot deny he is not the father," the radio presenter said.

"What the guy did, he pulled a reverse psychology. He took the kid, took many photos and posted online without Kisha's consent. This was unfair to Kisha because it led to her being cyber bullied and attacked. All she wanted was to follow the due process of the law and get Bahati to take responsibility."

Kisha committed social media suicide the moment the photos of Bahati and her child were circulated online.

Calls to Bahati for comment went unanswered.
