Kenya's most talented and upcoming female vocalist Jaya Awinja has released her first single "Wewe Ndiwe" off her upcoming debut solo album. The single was officially launched on Thursday at the Intercontinental Hotel's rooftop and the excited singer went on and expressed her joy on her instagram account:

"I am very excited to present my first official public launch of #WeweNdiwe video after a successful media launch last week. Thanks for hosting me. You are all welcome to Club Tribeka tomorrow evening!!!...."

She says 'the song celebrates fathers who are present and active in their children's lives in an era of absent, abusive, destructive, lost and passive fathers." Jaya has also worked with Juliani and Lady Jay Dee.
